2.1 Information You Actively Provide

• Collections: Articles, videos, web links, and related titles and notes you add via sharing, clipboard detection, or manual entry
• Metadata and Tags: Theme categories, starred status, reading status, one-line value summaries, associated projects, and other information you provide or confirm
• Themes and Settings: Custom article themes, theme descriptions, appearance templates, wallpapers, and other personalization settings

2.2 Automatically Collected and Processed Information

• Link Metadata: When adding a collection, the app may fetch public metadata such as title, thumbnail, source platform, and content type from the link
• Cached Content: During AI organization or deep reading, the app may cache fetched article text locally and include it in JSON backups
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, application version, and other basic information (used only to improve the app experience; not sent to third-party AI services)
• Usage Data: Application feature usage, performance data, error logs, etc. (used only to improve the app experience; not sent to third-party AI services)

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

The app requires no registration or login. We do not collect or send the following to third-party AI services: email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photo library, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers.

2.4 AI Data Processing and Transmission

Processing methods:

• Apple Intelligence (on-device): When available, simple AI requests are processed locally via Apple on-device Foundation Models; data is not sent to third parties
• DeepSeek (third-party cloud): Complex AI requests and fallback when on-device AI is unavailable are processed via the DeepSeek API (api.deepseek.com, model: deepseek-chat)
• Local fallback: When AI credits are exhausted, the AI tab and auto-organization when saving bookmarks fall back to local keyword search only; no data is sent to any AI service

Data sent to DeepSeek (limited to what is needed to fulfill your request):

• AI Chat: Your messages; recent chat history (up to 8 messages); relevant bookmark metadata (title, notes, topic, URL, article excerpts) from a filtered subset (up to ~40 items, not your full library); full article text only when deep reading is required (1–3 articles, truncated)
• Auto-organization: Bookmark title, URL, user note, article excerpt, and existing topic names

Voice input: Voice audio is processed on-device by Apple's system speech APIs; only transcribed text may be sent to AI services. Raw audio is never sent.

We do not store the content you send to AI services on our own servers. When transmitted to DeepSeek, content leaves your device. Please do not enter confidential or sensitive information.

III. AI Feature Consent

Before your first visit to the AI tab and before any AI message or suggestion can be sent, the app displays an explicit consent dialog:

• Explains DeepSeek third-party processing and on-device Apple Intelligence, with a link to this Privacy Policy
• Requires "Agree and Continue" or "Not Now"; cannot be dismissed by swiping
• Until consent is granted, no AI messages or suggestions can be sent, and AI auto-organization is blocked
• Users who choose "Not Now" can still manage bookmarks and use free local keyword search (no AI data transmission)
• You may withdraw AI consent at any time in the app

IV. Purpose of Information Use

We collect and use your information for the following purposes:

• 1. Provide Core Functionality: Link collection, cross-platform recognition, theme classification, waterfall browsing, and in-app reading
• 2. Local Data Management: Save and manage collections, themes, personalization settings, and cached content on your device
• 3. AI Services: After you consent to AI features, provide auto-organization, smart search, collection chat, and deep reading
• 4. Data Backup: Support JSON export/import for device migration and recovery
• 5. Improve Services: Analyze usage to optimize application performance and user experience
• 6. Technical Support: Resolve issues you encounter during use

V. Information Storage and Security

5.1 Data Storage Location

• Local Storage: Your collections, themes, personalization settings, and cached article text are stored locally on your device via SwiftData, under your full control
• User Backups: JSON backup files you export are saved by you to Files, iCloud, or other devices; we are not responsible for where backup files are stored
• Third-Party AI Services: When you consent to and use AI features, relevant content is sent to DeepSeek for processing, subject to DeepSeek's privacy policy

5.2 Data Security Measures

We adopt industry-standard security technologies and management measures to protect your personal information:

• Collection data is saved locally, with access controlled by you and the operating system
• Regular security assessments and vulnerability fixes

5.3 Data Retention Period

• Your collection data is retained on your local device until you actively delete collections or uninstall the app
• Local data may be cleared after uninstalling the app; if you have exported a JSON backup, you can restore via import

VI. Third-Party Services

We may use or integrate the following third-party services:

6.1 Apple Services

• App Store / StoreKit: Used for app distribution and possible in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Share Sheet: Used to receive shared links
• Apple Intelligence: When available, simple AI requests are processed on-device via Foundation Models; data is not sent to third parties
• System Speech APIs: Used for on-device voice recognition and transcription
• iCloud / Files: Used for data backup storage at your initiative

6.2 Content Source Platforms

The app supports recognizing and displaying content links from platforms such as WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Zhihu, Bilibili, Douyin, Weibo, X / Twitter, and YouTube. When adding collections, the app may access corresponding links to fetch public metadata or article text, subject to each platform's terms and privacy policy.

6.3 AI Services (DeepSeek)

AI features use DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com, model: deepseek-chat) for complex requests and as a fallback when on-device AI is unavailable. After you consent to AI features, relevant content is sent to DeepSeek for processing. DeepSeek has its own independent privacy policy, and we recommend that you read it carefully.

VII. Your Rights

According to relevant laws and regulations, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• 1. Right to Access: You can view and manage all your collections, themes, and settings in the app at any time
• 2. Right to Correction: You can edit collection details, theme categories, starred status, notes, and AI-organized results at any time
• 3. Right to Deletion: You can delete individual or batch collections at any time, or clear all data via a "replace all" import
• 4. Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw AI consent in the app at any time, or stop using AI-related features
• 5. Data Export: You can export all collections, themes, and settings via JSON backup and restore on other devices

VIII. Children's Privacy Protection

We highly value the protection of children's personal information. If you are under 14 years old, please use this application under the guidance of your guardian. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If you find that we have collected children's information without our knowledge, please contact us promptly, and we will immediately delete the relevant information.

IX. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Except for the following circumstances, we will not share, transfer, or disclose your personal information to third parties:

• 1. With your explicit consent (including consent in the AI feature consent dialog)
• 2. When you consent to and use AI features, relevant content is processed according to DeepSeek and other providers' policies
• 3. When accessing content sources to fetch metadata or text for links you actively add
• 4. Required by laws and regulations or judicial authorities
• 5. Necessary to fulfill service agreements or resolve disputes
• 6. In emergencies, to protect the life and property safety of users or the public

X. Privacy Policy Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated privacy policy will be published on this page, with the effective date clearly marked in a prominent position. We recommend that you regularly check this privacy policy to understand the latest changes. If changes involve significant content, we may notify you through in-app notifications or other means.
